Help, Generally, in the Elections
- Registering voters
- We've organized voter registration activities on 8/6, 8/13, 9/10, 9/24 and 10/1. Please visit the calendar to get more details.
- Hanging the “Blue North Ballot” on doors
- Handing out "Blue North Ballots" and candidate literature at the polls
(That’s a “Poll Greeter” not to be confused with a poll worker or poll observer.)
Help Democratic Candidates
- Phone-banking (i.e., calling voters and talking about the candidates and the importance of voting)
- Canvassing (i.e., knocking on doors and speaking to voters)
- Driving canvassers to help them be more efficient
- Hosting a “meet-and-greet” to introduce your friends and neighbors to the candidates
- Distributing yard signs
Help the NC Democratic Party (NCDP) with Voter Protection
- Answering questions via the NCDP voter hotline
- Serving as a Poll Observer to make sure that voters aren’t turned away at the polls
Help Strengthen Democrats of North Mecklenburg
- Serving on a Committee
- Membership Engagement Committee
- Precinct Committee
- Elections Committee
- Executive Committee (President, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Secretary)
- Helping coordinate fundraising event(s)
