Help, Generally, in the Elections

• Registering voters
  • We've organized voter registration activities on 8/6, 8/13, 9/10, 9/24 and 10/1.  Please visit the calendar to get more details.
• ​Hanging the “Blue North Ballot” on doors
• Handing out "Blue North Ballots" and candidate literature at the polls
  ​(That’s a “Poll Greeter” not to be confused with a poll worker or poll observer.)

Help Democratic Candidates

• Phone-banking (i.e., calling voters and talking about the candidates and the importance of voting)
• Canvassing (i.e., knocking on doors and speaking to voters)  
• Driving canvassers to help them be more efficient
• Hosting a “meet-and-greet” to introduce your friends and neighbors to the candidates
• Distributing yard signs

Help the NC Democratic Party (NCDP) with Voter Protection

• Answering questions via the NCDP voter hotline
• Serving as a Poll Observer to make sure that voters aren’t turned away at the polls

Help Strengthen Democrats of North Mecklenburg

• Serving on a Committee
  • Membership Engagement Committee
  • Precinct Committee
  • Elections Committee
  • Executive Committee (President, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Secretary)
• Helping coordinate fundraising event(s)
